1. 01What it reads From the EMR page you have open: the patient’s name, date of birth and health-card number, to find the same person in Anastomo. From the Anastomo app on your machine: the notes you have signed for that patient, and the text of the one you press.
2. 02Where it goes To one address only: the Anastomo app running on the same computer, at 127.0.0.1:8766. The extension makes no request to any other server — not ours, not anyone’s — and it fetches and runs no code it did not ship with. The note you insert goes into the EMR page in your browser; saving it there is yours to do.
3. 03Which sites Only the EMR sites you allow, one at a time. The extension names no site in advance; you allow yours from its side panel, Chrome asks you for that one site, and the extension runs on that site’s OSCAR pages and nowhere else.
4. 04What it keeps A pairing token issued by your Anastomo app, and the name of whoever paired it, in the browser’s extension storage on your machine. Nothing about any patient. Unpairing removes both. The Anastomo app records each insertion in its own journal, on your machine, with that name on it.
5. 05What we receive Nothing. There is no account, no analytics, no telemetry and no server of ours involved. We cannot see who uses the extension or what it reads. Patient information is never sold, shared, or used for anything but the one purpose above.
